Hi, and welcome to your new role as a local travel writer for the Local Vibe Guide.

You are part of a revolutionary new concept in travel. We list city/town travel guides - to the cool things to see and do - that are actually written by the "locals" that live in these places.

For a small fee that we share 50% with our on-the-ground writers, we are introducing travellers to the local secrets in the cities they want to visit.

Your guide could be viewed by thousands of travellers to your home town and country each year, enriching their travel experiences, and helping you earn a little money for your troubles.

But first, we need to get the number of travel writers high enough. Please join up and spread the word to your friends around the world!

There are three easy steps:


	Step 1: *Sign-up.* Just join the network and fill out a public profile - which tells travellers a little about your guide, your age range and interests. Note this contains no personal details - you will not be directly contacted by travellers.


	Step 2: *Write up your guide.* You can take your time, coming back regularly to update it - the guide need only be a few 100 words, or as long as you like. List specific places and things to see and do that you think are cool, and provide addresses and web links where possible. Click on "finished" when your guide is ready to be added to the database. Please try to avoid obvious places well covered by established guides.


	Step 3: *Collect payment.* As with most online reports for sale, a text scrambled sample of your guide is on display for travellers. Make it look enticing! Everytime a traveller elects to "buy" your guide, 50% of sale proceeds are credited to your account. When you have reached a minimum $US20 threshold, you can ask for payment into your paypal account. It's that easy!
